| 保存條件 | Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C. |

background: This gene encodes a nephrocystin protein that interacts with calmodulin and the retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator protein. The encoded protein has a central coiled-coil region and two calmodulin-binding IQ domains. It is localized to the primary cilia of renal epithelial cells and connecting cilia of photoreceptor cells. The protein is thought to play a role in ciliary function. Defects in this gene result in Senior-Loken syndrome type 5. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2009] Function: Interacts with calmodulin. Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome {ECO:0000269|PubMed:21565611}. Note=Localization to the centrosome depends on the interaction with CEP290. Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed in fetal and adult tissues. Localized to the outer segments and connecting cilia of photoreceptor cells.
